Deciding during journalism courses that being a war correspondent was not for her, Michelle stepped in the piranha club that is Formula 1 – a little less violent on most days, although that’s up for some debate of late. Starting out at 365 before spreading her wings to France with F1-Live, Michelle was unfortunately based in the UK at the time when McLaren, not Schumacher, were winning. Returning home to South Africa as the German and Ferrari hit their stride to join PlanetF1, she climbed the ranks from writer to deputy to editor. Now if only Ferrari could reach those heights…
