Pierre Gasly and Antonio Giovinazzi have both dropped down the grid for Sunday’s Monaco GP after incurring penalties in qualifying.
Giovinazzi was the first driver called before the stewards as the Alfa Romeo driver clearly impeded Nico Hulkenberg.
Giovinazzi qualified P15 but falls to 18th place.
It was more of the same for Gasly as he too was bust blocking, this time it was Romain Grosjean who was the victim.
Gasly will start eighth on the grid.
Grosjean, though, says the blame belongs to Red Bull, not Gasly.
“Poor guy, he wasn’t told anything,” he said.
“It has got big, big consequences for me because I could’ve made it into Q3 and obviously I ended up in 13th.
“I think Red Bull massively f**ked up that one. Pierre couldn’t do anything.”
Lewis Hamilton will start from pole position having pipped Valtteri Bottas in qualifying while Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel make up row two.
