They were the last of the top three to launch in 2019, but the Ferrari SF90 is finally here – time to take a closer look…
Fans were debating rumours all over social media that Ferrari were set to go with a deeper shade of red for the SF90, and they were correct when this snap was leaked just before the launch stream went live.

Mission Winnow branding features on the front and rear wings, the project getting rather a lot of stick right now along with McLaren’s partner British American Tobacco, with people fearing it is the start of a tobacco company resurgence in the sport.
Mission Winnow branding also appears on the side of the nose, along with the air-box.
You have probably already spotted other areas where they appear, but this is one of the perks of being a title sponsor after all.
Ferrari sport the simplified front wing brought in under the 2019 regulations, and it certainly doesn’t detract from the car’s beauty, which has a matte finish this season.
Team principal Mattia Binotto described it as a more aggressive design, and a slimmer one.
Binotto was also keen to stress at the launch that the car was equally as impressive underneath, because of all the hard work from Scuderia Ferrari’s staff that people don’t see.
The Scuderia will be hoping 2019 proves the year when they finally stop the Mercedes dominance – and if they don’t – one of their most cherished places in the Formula 1 history books will be destroyed by the Silver Arrows.
Currently, Ferrari’s five-consecutive Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships between 2000-04 stands level with Mercedes’ five between 2014-18.
So, a Drivers’ and Constructors’ double in 2019 would put Mercedes out ahead of Ferrari with six…
