Red Bull set new pit stop record - again

Red Bull broke their own pit stop record at the German Grand Prix, changing race winner Max Verstappen’s tyres in 1.88s.

Earlier this month at the British Grand Prix, Red Bull destroyed Williams’ pit stop record when they stopped Pierre Gasly in 1.91s.

This time it was Verstappen who benefitted from the world’s quickest pit stop.

His mechanics took all of 1.88s to put fresh tyres on the RB15 and send Verstappen back out onto the track, and on his way to victory.
