AlphaTauri have become the next team to announce their 2022 launch date, with the covers coming off the AT03 on Valentine’s Day – February 14.
The Red Bull sister team usually incorporate a fashion show with their launches to promote the AlphaTauri fashion line, but further details have yet to be revealed.
We now know the dates for half of the 2022 grid with AlphaTauri joining Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari in announcing their plans.

Aston Martin: February 10
McLaren: February 11
AlphaTauri: February 14
Ferrari: February 17
Mercedes: February 18

Since being rebranded from Toro Rosso to AlphaTauri, the Faenza-based outfit have recorded respectable mid-table finishes in the Constructors’ Championship, finishing P7 in 2020 and going one step further in 2021 by placing P6.
Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will once again lead the charge for AlphaTauri in 2022, with the former providing the team with some clear stand-out moments in the past couple of seasons in particular.
The Frenchman, who came back to the sister team after losing his spot alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull, has a famous win at Monza to his name and has also finished on the podium for AlphaTauri at the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
They, like Red Bull themselves, will be powered by Red Bull’s new PowerTrains division in 2022 and beyond following Honda’s decision to quit the sport as a constructor at the end of the 2021 campaign.
