Ferrari have released the short film ‘Le Grand Rendez-Vous’ starring Charles Leclerc, filmed in his home country of Monaco.

It was directed by controversial French filmmaker Claude Lelouch, and thankfully this time the filming was done legitimately compared to Lelouch’s previous work.

And it was an impressive operation with six iPhone 11 Pros, nine Go Pros and one Sony Venice Camera used by a crew of 17 over two days of filming in Monaco.

Leclerc, who drove two SF90 Stradales, had six Ferrari technicians at his disposal.

The filming was done on the weekend of the Monaco Grand Prix which originally had been scheduled for May 24.

The race was cancelled though and will return in 2021.

And now that Ferrari have released ‘Le Grand Rendez-Vous’, it’s time to sit back and enjoy the five-minute short film.
