Ricciardo: ‘Lando the tech nerd of modern society’

If you are missing your regular dose of Daniel Ricciardo, then fear not…he has been on Renault’s Instagram channel for a little Q and A session and immediately burned Lando Norris.

The McLaren driver turned up on the stream as it went live, only for Ricciardo to rib his fellow Formula 1 driver for all the Twitch broadcasting and Esports racing he has been doing during lockdown.

“[He is] the tech nerd of modern-day society,” Ricciardo said. “Not trying to be mean. He’s everywhere!”

Lando promptly left the chat…he got bored.

For reasons we are still trying to work out, toilet paper is in high demand as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread. But, Ricciardo is well stocked up and has a worst-case scenario option if things get really desperate.

He revealed: “We’ve got a good stock here at the farm, and there’s plenty of napkins and paper towels as well, so we’re all good.

“There’s also a swimming pool, so worst case…”

Talking of the swimming pool, people were not prepared to allow the stream to end without forcing Danny Ric to jump in his. He always gives the people what they want.
