‘PU allegations intended to destabilise Ferrari’

Charles Leclerc to star in C'etait un Rendezvous remake.
With Ferrari’s engine under scrutiny, Charles Leclerc says the allegations are nothing more than an attempt from rivals to “destabilise” the Scuderia.
Following the Japanese Grand Prix it emerged that unnamed rivals have asked the FIA to look into Ferrari’s power unit.
They allege that there is something going on with regards to the design of Ferrari’s engine and the intercooler.
There are suspicions that it allows a small amount of oil to enter the combustion process thereby giving the SF90 a welcome power boost.
However, those questioning the PU have not lodged an official protest.
Leclerc reckons the entire matter is nothing but rivals trying to upset Ferrari.
“I think any time a team is in a good moment, obviously everyone is looking at the small things to try and destabilise the team,” he told Autosport.
“That’s not happening.
“We are very confident inside the team that there is no problem with that, so it doesn’t affect us.”
