Formula 1 has released footage of an on-board lap at Zandvoort, one of two new tracks coming to the F1 2020 game in July.

Had we been able to start the Formula 1 season as usual, the circus would have been setting up shop in the Netherlands ahead of the return of the Dutch Grand Prix weekend.

Whilst that is on hold, we have been given a quick Zandvoort fix with Max Verstappen’s Red Bull charging around the track on the new Formula 1 game.

The banked corners are a clear stand-out and the circuit itself looks like it will provide a big challenge both online and in real life with overtaking opportunities hard to come by.

However, it does look like it is going to be super fun to drive.

Hanoi is the other new track coming to Codemasters’ latest instalment of the F1 gaming series, while new features include managing an 11th team in career and the chance to drive four iconic Michael Schumacher cars.

With no Zandvoort on the current F1 2019 game, the Virtual Grand Prix series is heading to Interlagos instead this Sunday at 5pm BST. The initial entry list has been confirmed here.
