F1 results: Timings from Austrian Grand Prix sprint

Red Bull's Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez battle at the start of the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.
Check out the full results from the dramatic Sprint race from the Red Bull Ring at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen has dominated a damp Sprint race at the Red Bull Ring, having weathered a first-lap attack from Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez.
The Dutch driver made a slightly worse start than Perez when the lights went out, with Perez taking the lead into Turn 1. But Verstappen fought back into Turn 3 after being pushed onto the grass on the run out of Turn 1, leading the two Red Bull drivers to radio in to complain about each other.
The duel allowed Nico Hulkenberg to sneak through into second place, with the Haas driver holding up Perez during the first half of the 30-minute Sprint before Perez got back past.
In the closing stages, the track began to dry out and several drivers made the switch to slick tyres – the change being led by Mercedes’ George Russell.
The final few laps were a flurry of activity as the drivers willing to take the gamble of the slick tyres came back at the drivers who persevered on the intermediates, with Hulkenberg ending up down in sixth as the highest of those who pitted.
Esteban Ocon finished seventh after a spirited battle with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc – the Monegasque ending up 12th after pitting for slicks towards the end.
Russell wound up eighth as the final points scorer.
