The Formula 1 2020 game has a new driver rating feature for racers in both Formula 1 and Formula 2 – and some early ratings have been released.

All drivers have been given ratings in four key areas plus an overall rating (similar to FIFA’s Ultimate Team series) as well as financial info such as contract costs, salaries and buy-out clauses.

All of these features will then help you, the player, decide who your team-mate will be in the new ‘My Team’ career mode.

The four key stats are: Experience, race craft, awareness and pace.

Ahead of the game’s release on July 10, the driver ratings for the Red Bull, Racing Point and AlphaTauri drivers are the first to be officially revealed. All drivers have a rating from 1-99 in all areas.
