Formula 1 fans will have live coverage of this year’s pre-season tests, you only need to subscribe to F1 TV Pro or Sky F1.
This year, for the first time ever, Formula 1 fans can follow all the action from pre-season testing on television.
But, as with pretty much everything in life, it isn’t free.
Fans need to either buy Sky F1 UK, be Sky F1 Italia subscribers, or they need to sign up for F1 TV Pro.
Both will be offering daily coverage of the tests from 9am to 1pm local time and again from 2pm to 6pm.
The six days of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya run from 19-21 February and then 26-28.
‘F1 TV Pro will also host a daily Tech Talk show – analysing the latest innovations the teams are trialling for 2020 – as well as full coverage of the new lunchtime press conferences, due to be held daily across testing,’ says the official F1 website.
‘Improving the viewing experience even more, meanwhile, with 2020 marking the first year that pre-season testing will be an official F1 event, the teams have all unanimously agreed not to use vanity screens during testing – a move that coincides perfectly with F1’s extended coverage!’
Live timing on the official F1 site and app have also been enhanced and will include video clips and ive text commentary.
