Max Verstappen was back to winning ways in the latest Team Redline Pro Series round, where Jenson Button made his first foray into iRacing.
The 2009 World Champion dipped his toe into the world of Esports on Monday night, getting a few laps under his belt in what is hopefully a sign of him becoming properly immersed into sim racing in the near future.
Meanwhile, Verstappen ensured that his recent dip in form was exactly that, following up Friday’s P5 and P10 with back-to-back victories.
The first race at the Road America circuit, where drivers are using European Formula 3 Dallara cars, was a dominant lights-to-flag victory for the Dutchman, but the second race almost saw victory slip away as a late mistake opened the door for Dani Juncadella.
Verstappen, though, was able to hold on and extend his lead at the top of the standings to over 100 points from Kelvin van der Linde.
Take a look at the race-defining incident between Verstappen and Juncadella below. Both drivers agreed it was a racing incident, but what do you think?
