Lando Norris has revealed he was “a little hustler” through his junior racing days, by designing and selling custom visor stickers to other drivers.

The McLaren driver used to sell the visor stickers, which sit at the top of the driver’s helmet visor, in his days in karting and Ginetta Juniors.

Norris has long been known to have a flair for graphic design, and that turned into something of an enterprise for the Briton even as far back as his teenage years.

Appearing with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri on a game of ‘Fact or Phish’ with team sponsors Darktrace, the two drivers were tasked with holding up a series of statements about themselves, and the challenge for the other driver was to work out whether the statement was true or false.

And when Norris read out: ”I made visor stickers for other drivers and sold them when I was in karting and Ginetta”, Piastri replied by holding up the ‘Fact’ paddle and added: “I mean, I know you like graphics and stuff like that so I’m going to say ‘fact’.”

Norris confirmed it was true and after raising a smile from his team-mate, Piastri replied: “Business hustler, eh?”

“Yeah, I was a little hustler,” Norris responded. “I made some good money.”

The McLaren driver also posts vlogs on YouTube of behind-the-scenes access of his race weekends from around the world, with those videos proving especially popular when he makes it onto the podium or when people want to hear his viewpoint after a tough race.
