Charles Leclerc launches his own karting brand.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has announced the launch of his own karting brand via his Instagram page.

Leclerc burst onto the Formula 1 scene in 2018 with Sauber, before graduating to the Ferrari team this season with just a year’s experience under his belt.

In what has been an up and down season for the Scuderia, Leclerc claimed his first victory in Formula 1 at the Belgian Grand Prix, with his second coming a week later at Ferrari’s home race in Italy.

Leclerc enjoyed a sublime karting career winning multiple titles in France before winning the WSK Euro Series title in 2012.

The 22-year-old said he is excited to return to the karting world in this new capacity.

“I’m extremely happy to announce that I’ll now have my own karting brand,” he wrote on his Instagram page.

“I started racing 18 years ago dreaming of Formula 1, most of the best times I’ve had in motorsport are from the karting days but it’s also where I’ve learnt most.

“It’s so good to be back in the karting world in a different way and I’m really looking forward to this new challenge.”
