Lewis Hamilton has a new person in his corner, teaming up with well known sports and media talent manager Penni Thow.
Earlier this year Hamilton said farewell to his right-hand man and friend, Marc Hynes, splitting with his long-time assistant in the build-up to the 2021 F1 season.
Hynes has been one of Hamilton’s closest allies for many years, not only taking care of his business interests but also working as the chief executive of the ‘Project 44’ management company that Hamilton set up seven years ago.
According to Autosport, he has now brought in Thow to help with building his Project 44 business.
A source close to P44 told the publication: “Lewis is committed to and focused on his racing career for a number of years ahead but through this partnership, is able to build and grow his business for the longer term.”

Hamilton recently branched out into the Extreme E all-electric off-road racing championship, establishing his X44 team while also launching The Hamilton Commission.
Thow, who is the chief executive officer of investment and talent advisory firm Copper, will work alongside Hamilton in building Project 44 and the Hamilton brand.
She previously worked with Scooter Braun, building SB Projects as its executive vice president, managing the likes of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
