Meet and greet with Haas' new VF-19

Having already unveiled their livery but on a 2018 car, Haas officially launched their 2019 challenger, the VF-19, in Spain on Monday.

The team took to the Circuit de Catalunya pit lane an hour before the start of pre-season testing to take the covers off the new car.

Haas will be known as Rich Energy Haas Racing for 2019 after signing their first title sponsor since entering Formula 1.

Up close with the Ferrari-powered Haas.

The team has retained the same line up as last year, one of only two to do so, with Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean set to fly the flag.

Haas finished last year’s championship in fifth place and are hoping to put in a repeat performance this year, or, even better, challenge for P4.

The car, though, has already been seen in action as Haas put it through a shakedown on Friday.

If you missed that, here’s a clip of the VF-19 putting in its first laps at the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona.
