Mercedes continue to tease special livery

Mercedes are continuing to set tongues wagging and mouths drooling after dropping another teaser of their special anniversary livery to be used in Germany.
This week, Mercedes are celebrating 125 years of motorsport which began all the way back in 1894 on the 22 July when the first competitive motorcar race from Paris to Rouen was won by a Daimler-engined Peugeot.
Mercedes confirmed that they would be running ‘a commemorative livery to pay tribute to our heritage’ and have posted a series of teaser shots via their social media channels all week.
They first revealed an old-school Mercedes logo, giving us a sense of what to expect on the W10 car.

We then got a little look at the nose…
And a glimpse of the chassis followed…
Mercedes have now given us a close up of the red numbering which is set to accompany the predominantly white livery.
We could get our first proper look at the W10 when the car is scrutineered by the FIA on Thursday. Can’t wait!
