Two road cars linked to seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher are set to go up for auction.

Schumacher will forever be remembered as one of Formula 1’s greatest ever drivers, holding the joint-record with Lewis Hamilton for the most world titles, while across his career he achieved a mighty 91 race wins and 68 pole positions.

And now, the public will soon be able to get their hands on two road cars which share a past with Schumacher, so get the chequebook ready…

First is the Mercedes C63 AMG which Schumacher drove upon his Formula 1 return with Mercedes, owning the vehicle from January to July 2010.

The car has been passed around to other owners since then, so the next one could be you…

Be warned though, it is expected to fetch between £41.5k-£83k when it goes under the hammer on February 3 during the Bonhams Les Grandes Marques à Paris Sale.

The other vehicle that will be up for grabs is the Tesla Roadster which Schumacher and compatriot Sebastian Vettel competed in at the Race of Champions event in 2010.

The duo were dominant in the past for Team Germany, winning six Race of Champions Nations’ Cup titles between 2007-2012.

That is expected to sell for somewhere between £112k-£166k.

The Schumacher-Vettel combo will actually return for the upcoming Race of Champions event, this time Michael’s son Mick Schumacher representing Germany alongside Vettel.

It will take place from February 5-6 at Pite Havsbad in Sweden, billed as the Race of Champions Snow + Ice 2022 Event.

Also representing the current Formula 1 grid will be Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas, set to pair up with compatriot and two-time Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen to represent Finland.
