Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is set to shake things up in 2019 after he unveiled his new helmet design for the upcoming season.
The Dutchman secured P4 in the 2018 Drivers’ Championship, a campaign which saw him taste victory in Austria and Mexico.
However, as usually is the case with Verstappen, it was not a season without controversy, including his collision with former team-mate Daniel Ricciardo in Baku and the bust-up with Esteban Ocon after the two collided on track in Brazil.

Speaking about his new helmet design, Verstappen said: “It’s a bit different to the previous years.
“There is a lot more white and it’s looking a lot more fresh I think in general.
“On the sides there is also a big difference, more white and a lot less blue. I think it makes it look really cool.
“I also added a little bit of gold to it.
“The lion is still on the top, so it looks very aggressive.
“It will be a very different look for me this year and I’m excited to get started with this helmet, and I hope you guys like it too.”
