New manager, same old future for Daniil Kvyat

Ahead of his expected return to Toro Rosso, Nicolas Todt has revealed he is the one now managing Daniil Kvyat’s racing career.

Kvyat, who was dropped from the Red Bull family in 2017, is predicted to return to the fold next season.

The Russian driver has been linked to a return to Toro Rosso, with whom he made his F1 debut.

Spearheading that return is his new manager, Todt.

“I have managed Daniil’s racing career for the last few months,” Todt told Motorsport.com.

“I’m very keen to help a talent like him, who in my opinion has unfinished business in F1.”

According to reports Toro Rosso will confirm Kvyat’s return at his home race, the Russian Grand Prix.

Since leaving the Red Bull family he has been a member of Ferrari, filling the role of the Scuderia’s development driver.

Todt also manages Charles Leclerc and helped orchestrate his move to Ferrari for 2019.
