Israeli driver Roy Nissany has been named as part of Williams‘ post-season test line-up at the Yas Marina circuit.

Nissany, who last competed in 2018 with a 20-race stint for Campos Racing in the Formula 2 World Championship, will get one morning session and one afternoon session behind the wheel of the Williams FW42.

He will take over from George Russell on the Tuesday afternoon following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and then will hand the car to Williams’ new 2020 recruit Nicholas Latifi following his second run on Wednesday morning.

“I am excited to drive for ROKiT Williams Racing in the 2019 Abu Dhabi Pirelli tyre test,” Nissany said in a statement upon official confirmation.

“It is great experience to build my on-track experience in a current Formula One car, and I hope that I can impress the team whilst doing so.”
