Alain Prost has stepped up to a non-executive director role of the Renault F1 team while Thierry Bolloré has stepped down from the board.
Earlier this month Prost became a member of the Renault Sport Racing Ltd board, replacing Bollore in that role when the latter moved over to the road car side following the resignation of Carlos Ghosn.
Prost, who has been an advisor to the Renault F1 team since 2015 when the French manufacturer bought the former Lotus team, will take on more responsibility under his new role.

A Renault spokesperson told Autosport that the role of the team’s board of directors is “establishing vision, mission and values, setting strategy and structure, delegating to management, exercising accountability to shareholders and being responsible to relevant stakeholders.”
Prost joined team boss Cyril Abiteboul, company president Jerome Stoll, Renault Group financial chief Thierry Cognet and Genii boss Gerard Lopez on the board of directors.
