Max Verstappen has been full of praise for how well Honda have integrated into the Red Bull set-up so far this season.
The Honda-powered RB15 delivered a podium finish in the first race of the season for the Dutchman and believes the positive working relationship is a sign of good things to come.
“So far I’m really happy with the power unit,” Verstappen told Mobil 1 The Grid.
“I think the driveability and everything connected to it, feels very smooth. Working together with Honda, so far has been great.
“We can solve problems really quickly, which I think is very important during the season. They are very well prepared and from our side we are very excited to work together.
“Hopefully we will have a lot of good moments during this year.”
Verstappen also said that the change to a new engine supplier has helped lift the mood in the garage.
“The feeling in the garage is very positive. Everybody is very motivated for this season,” he added.
“It’s a chance to achieve something big, together with Honda.
“The working relationship has been going really well so far. Everybody knows what to do and is super focused. That’s great to see.”
