Wednesday’s driver line-up for Spain testing

Nikita Mazepin

Nikita Mazepin will get his first taste of Mercedes machinery as he tests the W10 on the second and final day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The Russian, whose father had been linked with a takeover at Williams this season, was somewhat of a shock announcement on the Silver Arrows line-up list given he had no previous ties with Mercedes.

Ferrari simulator driver Antonio Fuoco will be providing some much needed feedback in the SF90, with Charles Leclerc switching over to Pirelli duties following a full day of running on Tuesday.

The other regulars from the current Formula 1 field are Alexander Albon in the Toro Rosso, Haas’ Kevin Magnussen and the one and only Kimi Raikkonen for Alfa Romeo.

Wednesday’s line-up:

Mercedes – Nikita Mazepin
Ferrari – Antonio Fuoco
Red Bull – Dan Ticktum
Renault – Jack Aitken
Haas – Kevin Magnussen
McLaren – Oliver Turvey/Sergio Sette Camara
Racing Point – Nick Yelloly
Alfa Romeo – Kimi Raikkonen
Toro Rosso – Alex Albon
Williams – Nicholas Latifi
Pirelli – Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Lance Stroll (Racing Point)
