New season means new merchandise, and Williams have launched their fancy new look after joining forces with Umbro once again.

Umbro and Williams were in partnership way back in 1987 and, over 30 years later, are back together ahead of the 2021 season.

The deal, which was first announced in August 2020, will see Umbro provide apparel for all Williams team members apart from the race overalls of the drivers and respective pit crews.

The iconic double diamond of Umbro will be first seen in the flesh on Williams’ team wear at the pre-season test in Bahrain on March 12-14.

Tim Hunt, commercial and marketing director for Williams, said: “To have Umbro back involved with Williams Racing is a huge positive for everyone involved.

“Umbro has a rich heritage in developing performance-oriented apparel, which will be crucial for the season ahead.

“With more races, and the extremes that the team go to in pursuit of success on the track, the kit we wear is a crucial part of our performance.”

Sam Lucas of Umbro UK, commented: “It is a really exciting time for Umbro, connecting with motorsport and continuing to showcase our multi-sport experience in producing performance driven kit.

“The upcoming F1 season will the longest in its history, and the team will need to prepare for the unique demands that comes with this.”
