Guess the Grid: 2016 European Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg leads the field into Turn 1 in Azerbaijan. Baku June 2016.
Formula 1 will head back to Baku this coming weekend and this latest quiz will test your knowledge about who started the first ever race around Azerbaijan.
This race was labelled as the European Grand Prix in 2016, but the Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been a popular feature on the calendar ever since its introduction midway through the 2010s.
The mega 2.2km start/finish straight provides ample opportunities to overtake around a circuit which combines high-speed sections in sectors one and three alongside the technical challenge of sector two, with the run through Turn 8 representing the narrowest piece of track on the entire Formula 1 calendar.
Yes, even tighter than Monaco.
Four positions in three laps… 🚀

The races around Baku have not disappointed since, but the first grand prix run around the circuit could arguably have been the most processional with a dominant victory taken in comfortably the quickest car that season.
But your challenge in this F1 quiz is not to remember how good the race was, but to name who was on the grid that day.
Plenty of the names there in Baku are still on the grid today, but there is one fewer team and a few drivers who have moved on to other motorsport ventures that you may have forgotten about.
Once you have finished this quiz, have a go at another – and it’s another quick one, in trying to name the nine manufacturers which have supplied tyres in Formula 1 in its history.
And you will know this by now, but if you are yet to give it a go, try Sportword. It’s Planet Sport’s edition of the word guessing game, with six attempts to find a different Formula 1-related word every day.
But as for Baku in 2016, you only have five minutes to get all 22 drivers. Best of luck!
