The A1-Ring, as it was known then, hosted its final Austrian Grand Prix in 2003 before a multi-year hiatus, can you guess the grid?

Originally the infamous Österreichring, safety concerns triggered a redesigning of the circuit, rebranded to the A1-Ring as it returned to Formula 1 as host of the Austrian Grand Prix in 1997, staging the event through until 2003.

The venue is now of course known as the Red Bull Ring, purchased by Austria’s native energy drink manufacturer Red Bull GmbH and modified to lure Formula 1 back from 2014.

Austria had quite some time to wait then before Formula 1 action returned, so we want to take a trip back to 2003 and test your knowledge as the A1-Ring made its last stand in Formula 1.

The race win went Ferrari’s way, but they account for only 10% of that 20-driver grid at the 2003 Austrian Grand Prix. We want you to complete it all.

Once you have given this challenge a go, why not head back to another Austria-related one and name every Austrian and Styrian Grand Prix winner? That one takes you back even further into the Formula 1 history books!

You can of course access our full collection of quizzes, just search ‘Guess the Grid’ or ‘F1 quiz’ in the PlanetF1 searchbar and you will find plenty to keep you entertained!
