Magny-Cours hosted the tenth round of the 2005 season, can you guess the grid for that instalment of the French Grand Prix?

We will give you one name straight off the bat, that being eventual 2005 World Champion Fernando Alonso, who converted pole position to victory in the sunny conditions which greeted the drivers at Magny-Cours.

His French GP victory was one of seven wins that season as Alonso captured the 2005 title, the first of consecutive crowns for the two-time World Champion.

What we need from you then is the names of all 20 drivers who formed the grid for the French Grand Prix back in 2005.

You are up against the clock in this challenge, out to piece together the grid in the shortest time possible.

Once you have completed this challenge, we have another Alonso-themed quiz for you to have a go at, this one asking you to identify all of his Formula 1 team-mates.

We have plenty of other quizzes to go at though, just enter ‘F1 quiz’ in the search bar to find the full selection, while typing in ‘Guess the Grid’ will take you to all of those challenges.

We also have our very own F1 Wordle game called Sportword, where you have six attempts to guess the mystery F1-related word. You’ll find that right here.

First though, it is time to name that grid for the 2005 French Grand Prix. Good luck!
