Former F1 driver Alex Zanardi has undergone surgery for the third time after suffering serious head injuries in a handbike race accident last month and remains in a medically-induced coma.
Alex Zanardi is said to be in a “stable” condition after undergoing a second round of neurological surgery.
The hospital treating Alex Zanardi has announced that he will remain in a medically-induced coma for at least a week more.
After three nights in the intensive care unit, Alex Zanardi’s condition is unchanged according to the hospital treating him.
