The race calendar for the 2018 season is set to be tweaked as the FIA World Council prepares to meet in Paris this week.
When the calendar was first revealed back in June, the 2018 season was to due to kick-off with Australia, China and Bahrain.
However, according to respected journalist Joe Saward, China and Bahrain will be switching positions due to a clash which could possibly impact attendance figures in Shanghai.
Chinese race officials have requested to switch from April 8 to April 15 due to the three-day Qingming Festival running from April 5-7.
The switch is expected to be confirmed this week as follows:
Australian Grand Prix – March 25
Bahrain Grand Prix – April 8
Chinese Grand Prix – April 15
