Maurizio Arrivabene insists Ferrari's target to win two races this season is "not really unrealistic" despite ominous signs from Mercedes in pre-season testing.
After their disastrous 2014 campaign, Ferrari made major changes during the off-season and they started winter testing well by claiming the fastest time on three of the four days in Jerez.
However, Mercedes remain the team to beat following their 16 wins last season with many insisting they are sandbanging. Although they have quietly gone about their business by clocking lap after lap, they have certainly dropped a few hints here and there about their pace.
Ferrari team boss Arrivabene set a target of two victories in 2015 when he took over last year and he insists it's achievable.
"I think it is ambitious, but realistic," he said.
"You need to be near to [Mercedes], I am not going to wish them bad luck, but you never know.
"The most important thing is to be there; so I think the target is ambitious, but not really unrealistic."
