The Monaco GP gets underway on Thursday and Lewis Hamilton is 4/1 with Sky Bet to pick up his second win of the season after being denied by the narrowest of margins in Spain last weekend.
The McLaren driver was available at 7/1 before the race at the Circuit de Catalunya but his impressive performance has seen his odds slashed for a win in Monaco. His team-mate Jenson Button has been installed as a 12/1 shot to take the chequered flag in what promises to be a thrilling race.
The dominance of the Red Bull is fading slightly after a dominant opening to the season, Sebastian Vettel was only just able to hold off Lewis Hamilton last time out. Given the tough nature of the Monaco track the German is 10/11 to win there whilst his team-mate Mark Webber is 5/1 to take the 25 points away from France.
The Fastest Qualifier market for the Monaco Formula One betting is an altogether more open affair in Monaco than it has been in recent races after Mark Webber broke Vettel’s run of four straight pole position starts. The German is the 4/6 favourite to be the fastest qualifier whilst Mark Webber is 9/4 after winning qualifying in Spain. Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are 8/1 and 20/1 respectively to take pole.
The safety car is a 1/4 chance to make its’ first appearance of the season in Monaco which is no surprise given the amount of mayhem expected at the tight track, those who think the safety car won’t be deployed for the sixth race in a row can get 11/4 on this eventuality.
