Jenson Button could stay in F1 for several years to come, saying that even in four years he won’t be ready to retire.
Button is set to start his 200th grand prix this weekend in Hungary, joining a select group of drivers who have hit the double century.
The Brit is already expecting to move well beyond the milestone as both himself and McLaren are considering extending their partnership for a few more years.
However, even if he signs a four-year deal with the Woking outfit, the 2009 World Champ says he doubts he’ll be ready retire after that.
“I was thinking last week, if I did four more years in F1 I would be 35 and I’d retire from racing,” Button told the Daily Mail. “What the hell am I going to do at 35 years old?”
