Alfonso Celis will be back behind the wheel of Force India’s VJM09 in Friday’s first practice for the Austrian Grand Prix.
The 19-year-old development driver joined Force India at the start of this season when it was revealed he would tackle seven of the 21 FP1 sessions.
He replaced Sergio Perez in Bahrain and Nico Hulkenberg in Russia, finishing P21 and P22 respectively in the sessions.
Celis, who competes in the Formula V8 3.5 Series, will be back in action for Force India at the Red Bull Ring.
The Silverstone factory is buzzing as we prepare for Austria where our development driver @FonsoCelisJr will be driving opening practice.
