Sebastian Vettel has the option to remain at Ferrari next season, he only needs to exercise it according to Sergio Marchionne.
Ferrari have yet to sign a single driver for next year’s championship with both Vettel and his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen out of contract.
Reports have linked several drivers, most notably Max Verstappen, to the Scuderia with Marchionne admitting that nothing is yet set in stone.
It is, however, up to Vettel if he wants to continue with the team.
“All options are on the table,” Marchionne told Sky F1.
“I’ve made it very clear if Sebastian wants to stay, he has the option.”
As for Raikkonen, the team boss said: “We will continue discussing with Kimi.”
