FIA confirms 2015 calendar

Date published: March 2 2015

The 2015 Formula 1 season will feature 20 races with the Mexican Grand Prix the only newcomer to the calendar.

The Mexican GP, which will take place on the weekend of November 1 at the revamped Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, will return to F1 for the first time since 1970.

The only other notable change will see the Japanese GP at Suzuka moving a week forward to run back-to-back with Singapore.

The season will once again kick off at Melbourne Park in Australia on March 15 with Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Street Circuit hosting the finale on November 29.
