FP2: Ricciardo makes it two-from-two, so does Palmer

Daniel Ricciardo continued to impress in his updated RB13 as he set the pace at the Hungaroring, a session that was red flagged by Pascal Wehrlein and then Jolyon Palmer.
The Sauber driver was the only casualty in FP2 as he lost the rear mid-way through Turn 11. He tried to catch up but ended up spinning and hitting the barriers repeatedly – and hard.
Wehrlein reported that he was “all OK” but was taken to the medical centre for checks.
Palmer brought out the second red as he lost the car on the way into 14. It stepped around on him and he hit the barrier with the rear of the car, causing damage to the right rear.
The session was topped by Ricciardo, who made it two-from-two for Friday.
He posted a 1:18.455 on the supersoft tyres to edge Sebastian Vettel by 0.183s while Valtteri Bottas was third.
Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen completed the top six with all six drivers separated by less than half a second.
Hamilton did not do a qualy run on his supersoft tyres because of yellow flags for other drivers, with his best time set on the soft tyres.
Nico Hulkenberg was seventh quickest ahead of Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz and Stoffel Vandoorne.
Kevin Magnussen managed just 20 minutes of running because of the damage sustained when Antonio Giovinazzi crashed in the morning. He was slowest of all.
