After the Russian Grand Prix concluded, Haas driver Romain Grosjean was delighted to be back in the points after a disastrous Chinese Grand Prix two weeks ago.
Complaining about the lack of drive he was getting from his Haas all weekend, the Frenchman was pleased that he was able to get into the points at the Sochi Autodrom, where he placed in eighth position.
"It's great to be back in the points, especially after a very difficult weekend where we were never very happy with the car," Grosjean told reporters after the race.
"It was a good first lap to avoid all the incidents, and then I kept (Sergio) Pérez behind.
"There are still so many things we can improve on the car. I'm still not a hundred per cent happy with the behaviour. I think for the next race it's going to be so much better.
"It's very positive knowing that we have something that will become better."
