Lewis Hamilton continues to be impressed the new Mercedes W08, saying it is the "fastest he has ever driven in Formula One".
The three-time World Champion completed a full race simulation on Day Three of testing in Barcelona, while team-mate Valtteri Bottas broke the 1:20 barrier alongside Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.
"It is just an amazing feeling walking into the garage each morning and knowing that I am one of only two people in the world who can drive this car," Hamilton said via The Telegraph.
Hamilton's former team-mate, Nico Rosberg, was visiting the Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday and said the drivers will feel like "gladiators" coming into battle with the new aero regulations.
Hamilton responded: "I’d like to think that I look like a gladiator. But this is the fastest I have ever driven in Formula One, no doubt. We are flattening corners like we never have before.
"I come out of some of them feeling as if I am a kid on a rollercoaster. I just hope that it separates the men from the boys.”
Hamilton warned once again, though, that the new rules might not make for more entertaining races for the fans.
"Everyone hopes that the changes will help to create more exciting racing," he added. "But don’t hold your breath – that would be my message. It is hard to control the car when you are following."
