Lewis Hamilton will make a 21 000 km round trip from Malaysia to Kent in order to watch his brother’s motor racing debut.

Hamilton’s brother, Nicolas, is a frequent visitor to the McLaren garage, but on Saturday it will be the 19-year-old’s turn to take centre stage as he turns out in the Renault Clio Cup, Britain’s top one-make saloon car series, at Brands Hatch.
Nicolas, who suffers from cerebral palsy, will turn out for the Total Control Racing.
Despite being in Malaysia preparing for next weekend’s GP at Sepang, the elder Hamilton will make the trip to watch Nicolas in action.
“I am the closest person to him but even I cannot comprehend what it must have been like to have the difficulties he has had,” the former World Champion told Reuters.
“I’m so proud of him. I’ll just head back to see his qualifying and race and then pop back out. It’s cool,” he added.
