Hamilton to run Halo in FP1 at Spa
Lewis Hamilton, Stoffel Vandoorne and Marcus Ericsson will all be running the Halo cockpit safety device in FP1 for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Sebastian Vettel was the last driver to trial it during his installation lap ahead of the British Grand Prix, but now the FIA are ramping up the implementation process with three drivers testing the controversial device on Friday morning.
The Halo has been heavily criticised for its appearance, while many believed the announcement to introduce it for the 2018 season is a rushed decision.
Work has been done to make the central column of the Halo thinner to help make it more streamlined and not to impair the driver's vision.
