‘Hard to know if Ferrari should keep Kimi’

Mika Hakkinen feels Ferrari should wait before deciding on Kimi Raikkonen and whether or not to to hand the Finn a contract for 2016.
Last season Raikkonen was largely outgunned by his team-mate Fernando Alonso in what a wretched season for Ferrari.
This year, though, the 2007 World Champion looks to have found his spark.
Although he has lost to team-mate Sebastian Vettel in three of the four grands prix, Raikkonen is right up there taking the fight to the German.
His performances have led to talk about a possible contract extension as Ferrari have an option on him for 2016.
Hakkinen, however, reckons they should wait before exercising it.
"At this point, it is still difficult to know whether this would be the right or wrong decision for Ferrari," the former McLaren driver wrote in his Hermes blog.
"We already know about Kimi's speed and talent. A very experienced driver like him should be showing regularly what we saw in Bahrain."
