Nick Heidfeld was not happy with his team-mate Vitaly Petrov in the wake of the Turkish GP, saying his move on him was “not nice.”
Heidfeld and Petrov clashed during the 58-lap grand prix when latter attempted to pass his team-mate on the inside of Turn 13.
The two were side-by-side and touched, although thankfully for Renault, neither car was damaged.
Heidfeld was not happy with the Russian, making hand gestures to show his displeasure.
“Yeah, that’s not nice. It shouldn’t happen,” the German, who finished P7, told the BBC.
“He just pushed me wide and we made contact. It’s not a safe thing to do.”
As for his race, Heidfeld said: “Not totally happy with the race.
“I’m happy with the pace, which was good, but I was in traffic most of the time and if I had a bit more free space I could easily have got a better result, but at least we have the race pace.”
