Nico Hulkenberg has revealed that he’ll have to wait until the end of the season to learn his fate.

The Force India test driver, who raced for Williams last season before being dropped at the end of the campaign, is determined to return to the F1 grid in 2012.

However, Hulkenberg is not the only driver seeking a Force India race-seat.

The German is in competition with the team’s regular 2011 racers, Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta, both of whom have yet to secure deals for next year’s Championship.

But, like Hulkenberg, they will have to wait until the end of the season.

The German wrote on Twitter: “(I) hope I can race with Force India but the Team will decide it not before Dec so i must wait.”

Hulkenberg also revealed that he won’t be in action at the next race in Singapore as the team wants to give their regular drivers more time in the car.

“I will not drive in FP1 in Singapore cause the team wants to give Adrian and Paul more track time and i understand and accept the Decision,” he wrote.
