Robert Kubica will take the wheel of the Williams in Barcelona this weekend, replacing Sergey Sirotkin for the first practice session.
The Pole will be back in the car, having not got the drive for this season. He will also take part in the two-day test after the race weekend.
Chief technical director Paddy Lowe believes that the Spanish GP weekend is going to be a busy one for the team.
He said: “We have Robert [Kubica] taking part in FP1 in place of Sergey. We have a busy Friday programme and it will be interesting to get Robert’s feedback on the car.”
After the race, there is a two-day test, with Lowe saying the team has a heavy workload to fit in. He also says that neither Stroll or Sirotkin will be in the car.
Lowe added: “We also have two days of testing following the race with our Official Young Driver Oliver Rowland, and Robert. We have a huge programme to fit into those two days to make progress with the development of the car.”
Lance Stroll will not be part of the two-day test, but the Canadian will not be too bothered by it, as he is not the biggest fan of the circuit.
He said: “Every track is challenging but Barcelona is not one of my favourites. This may be due to the fact that the amount of testing we have done there as drivers, we have driven it so many times it can become a bit repetitive after a while.”
