Lotus hit back over lockout reports

Lotus have brushed off suggestions that the team were denied access to their hospitality area ahead of the Russian Grand Prix.

Reports on Wednesday said that, as was the case last time out in Suzuka, the troubled Enstone outfit had not been unable to enter their designated hospitality area due to unpaid bills.

However, the cash-strapped team were quick to throw cold water on such reports, stating on Twitter: "Thank you for all the sympathy, but we are in and we are busy eating!"

Lotus' financial troubles are well documented, with French manufacturer Renault in negotiations to buy the team.
