Lowe to jump ship on Mercedes

Mercedes executive director Paddy Lowe looks set to make a sensational return to the Williams team for the 2017 season.
Lowe began his career in Formula One with Williams way back in 1987 but moved to Mercedes in 1993 spending over twenty tears with the team.
The BBC has reported that Lowe has yet to committ his future to Mercedes with a switch to Williams apparently in the works.
It is unclear how this move will effect Mercedes’ play to secure the services of William’s driver Valtteri Bottas as a replacement for world champion Nico Rosberg.
Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff is said to have lined up former-Ferrari technical director James Allison who quit the Italian team in order to move closer to home earlier this year.
It is understood that Lowe would have to serve a notice period with Mercedes before he would be allowed to leave the 2016 Constructor’s Champions.
Allison has already turned down offers from Williams, Renault and McLaren.
