The FIA has confirmed that Nigel Mansell will act as the drivers’ representative on the stewards’ panel at the Belgian Grand Prix.

It will be the 1992 World Champion’s second stint as race steward this season as he also fulfilled the role during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in early July.

Mansell isn’t the only famous F1 driver to have acted as steward this year as former World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, Johnny Herbert and Heinz-Harald Frentzen have all been on the panel so far.
