As rumours of Ferrari wanting Kimi Raikkonen emerged, Felipe Massa says he’s just concentrating on doing well at the next race.

Heading into Formula One’s summer break, Massa was once again faced with rumours of his pending sacking by Ferrari with Raikkonen being touted at the latest to take his seat.

According to rumours in Budapest, Ferrari want their 2007 World Champ back on their payroll despite having paid him millions not to race for them in 2010.

And although neither Ferrari nor Lotus have given any weight to the reports, it does seem as if Massa’s days at the Italian stable are numbered.

But for now at least the Brazilian says he’s just focused on doing his best for Ferrari.

“This first part of the season has definitely not been very positive for me, although I certainly feel better than at the start and I’m sure the second half will be better,” the 31-year-old said.

“My contract? Until the situation is clear, there’s nothing to say! I’m concentrating on doing well in the next races and that is my number one aim.”
